Sorry for the long, what seemed to be, blog sabbatical. Well my computer is up and kicking again so hopefully I'll be blogging more frequently. This is a shot of a goat in Haiti. As far as the over-layed texture; it's a leaf that I set to 'soft light' and selectively masked in. Hope you like..

My computer is still out of commission so I haven't been able to create any new images as of late. Luckily though, I still have a good amount of images from Haiti that I really like that I haven't blogged yet. This is one of them. So i faced for the first time this week the dreaded computer crash. It turns out my logic board died. I don't know exactly why (as my computer is just under 2 years old) but we did lose power in our hotel for awhile this week, and I suspect a power surge could have contributed. To make matters worse, though I worked at the apple store and sold many an 'applecare' (apple's extended warranty) I, of course, failed to heed the advice that I passed on to my customers and my computer is no longer cover.
